HABITAT FOR HOUNDS
Nobody likes to feel as if he or she is in the doghouse . . . well, maybe with the exception of a playful pooch. Inspire your team’s spirits with this exciting and benevolent program, where being “nothing but a hound dog” is the way to be!
Every community has a chapter of The Humane Society, or similar pet adoption agency, in need of “incentives” to help make its adoptions more appealing to potential “parents.” A brand-new, lovingly made doghouse surely fits the bill!
After participating in some animated ice-breakers, “packs” will be created and the competition begins. Using BridgeTheApp™, our proprietary app, hosted on Apple® iPads®, teams must earn the supplies needed for the paws-on portion of the event, by completing photo, video, and trivia challenges, and creating (then performing) a live presentation of a famous song about our furry friends. Ingenuity flows as choreography is created, lyrics are rewritten, and melodies howl . . . er . . . float through the air!
Then, armed with materials including paint, walls, roofs, flooring, fabric, and the like, your pack will build and decorate a unique home for a pup in need.
Finishing off the program in style, teams are provided with a variety of “pet products,” including canned and bagged dog food, toys, and the like, which are used to create a unique “landscape” around each team’s newly-built dog house.
Ultimately, the pet supplies and houses are donated to a local chapter of The Humane Society, or other, similar animal adoption agency.
So, leave the leash at home and get ready for a fur-raising good time, all while helping out our canine companions in need.
As with all BridgeTheApp™-powered events, shortly after its conclusion, your inbox will contain a link to a web page where all of the photos and videos, captured by your participants, will be available for viewing and download.
