It’s 5 O’clock Somewhere is a high-energy culinary competition that transports participants south of the border for a fiesta of flavor and fun. Combining food, mixology, trivia, creativity, and teamwork, this engaging experience challenges teams to earn ingredients and craft a festive spread — no recipes, just imagination and collaboration. Perfect for an afternoon team-building activity or a pre-dinner cocktail party, this experience is spicy, spirited, and unforgettable.

Event Flow:

1. Welcome & Icebreaker
   • Kick off with festive music and a brief intro to the event theme: a Mexican-inspired culinary showdown.
   • Engage the group with fun icebreaker games like “Spicy Trivia” or “Taco Truth or Dare.”
   • Participants are randomly grouped into teams (aka “cantinas”) by a professional facilitator.
2. Cantina Challenge Brief
   • Teams receive iPads® loaded with BridgeTheApp™, our proprietary game platform.
   • The facilitator explains the rules and introduces the five challenge categories.
3. Challenge Stations & Ingredient Hunt
   • Teams complete trivia, video, and photo challenges via the app to earn points.
   • With enough points, they can “shop” at the Tasty Tienda for salsa, guacamole, and margarita ingredients.
   • Tasks include:
   – Trivia & Photo/Video Tasks (via app)
   – Salsa & Guacamole Making (no recipes!)
   – Margarita Mixology (or alternative libations like mojitos or sangria) OPTIONAL
   – Fruit & Veggie Carving Challenge (for a festive presentation) OPTIONAL
   – Marketing Challenge – create and perform a lively pitch for your cantina’s creation.
4. Cantina Presentations
   • Each team presents their culinary creations and festive cantina display.
   • Performances may include skits, jingles, or over-the-top pitches — Madison Avenue style!
5. Judging & Awards
   • Medals are awarded based on creativity, teamwork, presentation, and flavor.
   • Categories may include:
   – Best Overall Cantina
   – Most Flavorful Salsa
   – Best Presentation
   – Most Entertaining Pitch
