Turn up the heat and bring on the flavor with the Texas Chili Cook-Off, a fiery blend of teamwork, creativity, and Lone Star pride! This high-energy event combines friendly competition with mouthwatering results as teams earn ingredients, craft their signature chili recipes, and present their creations with style and flair. Guided by BridgeTheApp™, participants tackle trivia, photo, and video challenges to unlock key ingredients and earn bonus points—all while stirring up laughter, teamwork, and a little healthy rivalry. From apron decorating to chili tasting, this event is a recipe for unforgettable fun and fiery collaboration!

Event Flow:

  1. Welcome & Icebreaker
    • The facilitator kicks things off with upbeat Texas tunes and an engaging welcome activity.
    • Guests jump into lively icebreakers that set the tone for teamwork and creativity.
    • Participants are randomly assigned to teams, each ready to compete for chili glory.
  2. BridgeTheApp™ Challenge Brief
    • Teams receive Apple® iPads® preloaded with BridgeTheApp™, our interactive game platform.
    • The facilitator explains how teams can earn ingredients and bonus points through trivia, photo, and video missions.
    • The leaderboard goes live, keeping energy high as competition heats up.
  3. The Chili Creation Challenge
    • Teams roll up their sleeves to develop their one-of-a-kind chili recipes—spicy, savory, or sweet, it’s up to them!
    • While some members chop, stir, and simmer, others decorate a custom “Head Chef” apron or work on a creative presentation or team jingle.
    • BridgeTheApp™ sends surprise “flavor challenges” to push culinary creativity even further.
  4. Branding & Presentation Prep
    • Teams perfect their dishes and prepare short, entertaining presentations that showcase their chili’s unique flavor and story.
    • Optional: integrate company themes, team names, or mascots for added fun.
    • Facilitator captures photos and videos of teams in action to commemorate the day.
  5. Judging & Chili Tasting
    • Once the cooking wraps, teams present their dishes to a panel of judges (either company reps or event staff).
    • Scorecards are used to evaluate creativity, presentation, and, of course, taste.
    • BridgeTheApp™ tallies final points to reveal the top teams.
  6. Awards & Closing Celebration
    • Prizes and medals are awarded in categories such as:
    – Best Overall Chili (Texas Chili Champion)
    – Most Creative Flavor
    – Best Team Presentation or Jingle
    – Team Spirit Award
    • The event wraps with a celebratory tasting session and group photo—because no one leaves a Texas Chili Cook-Off hungry!
